This knife has a 183mm blade hand forged from "Aogami Super" high carbon tungsten steel, specially formulated by Hitachi Steel for traditional forged knives, sandwiched between two outside layers of mild steel.
The hexagonal handle is made from oak that was killed 3,000 years ago by the rising water of the Anglian Fens, fell, and was preserved in the tannic water- bog oak.
