A 216mm hand forged chef’s knife, the blade laminated from 150 year old puddled iron with a high carbon tungsten steel (1.2442) core, hammer welded together in the fire. The hexagonal handle made from 3,000 year old Anglian bog oak. The blade is a shallow convex, close to chisel grind, with microbevel. The spine is beefy. The forced patina will change over time.
