This hand forged chef's knife with a blade forged from high carbon Austrian "silver steel" (1.2210) core/edge clad with 150 year old wrought iron scavenged from an old churchyard in the Isle of Dogs (pictured). The blade is patinated, and further patina will develop, it is not stainless! Please see the section on this website on caring for your knife for further details.
The hexagonal handle is made from sustainably harvested olive wood.
