This is a hand forged chef knife featuring a blade with a forged fuller for enhanced food release for RIGHT HANDED use. It has a Japanese Hitachi "Aogami Super" core/edge clad with stainless steel. This steel is heat treated to very high hardness, and the edge is very thin. It is purely for use in cutting vegetables and boneless meat and may fail if subject to abuse. The hexagonal handle is made from 5,000 year old Anglian bog oak.
