The blade is hand forged from 1.2442 high carbon tungsten tool steel laminated with historic wrought iron. The handle is made from toasted reclaimed 19th century oak. The blade has a starter patina which will change and evolve with use.
This knife is quite beefy in the spine and a little forward weighted, suitable for a pinch grip, but very fine behind the edge. Both the blade and handle are made from natural, raw materials which will age and change with time, but with care will last generations.
