THE STEEL; Hand forged high carbon steel, a highly select and rarified steel formulated by wizardy eggheads in ancient times and smelted from dragons' teeth and beer bottle caps by thick-legged Austrian yeoman in the steep valleys of their mountain fastness. (steel spec 1.2210)
THE WOOD; Ancient Giant Oaks, toppled by shrieking winds at the summoning of beetle-browed necromancers, they lay pickling for 7000 years in the brackish waters of the Anglian Fens, to be grubbed up by slope haired villagers and dragged on rough hewn sledges to the trading posts of the notorious Bog Oak dealers of the Eastlands in exchange for beads. And yes I DO like long sentences, and yes you CAN make this shit up.

Due to the natural, untreated nature of both high carbon steel, iron and the handle material, this knife will patinate and change over time.
