The blade is hand forged from 1.2442 high carbon tungsten steel laminated with historic wrought iron. The handle is made from 5000 year old Anglian bog oak.
This knife is quite beefy in the spine and a little forward weighted, suitable for a pinch grip, but very fine behind the edge. It is a serious knife. Both the blade and handle are made from natural, raw materials which will age and change with time, but with care will last generations. Please read the care section of my website before purchase.
